Location

The hotel sits 6600 ft above sea level, placing it above the clouds at the summit of Chopok, within the Low Tatras National Park. Arrival and departure happen solely via the cable car, with a round-trip ticket included in the stay. Guests check in at the Biela Púť cable car station and ride up to the Rotunda, surrounded by alpine terrain and direct access to Jasná Ski Resort.

Rooms

Noc Na Chopku offers 3 rooms: 2 deluxe rooms and 1 family room, each with a private balcony and views of the Low Tatras range. In-room comforts include a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and a private bathroom with a shower. All rooms feature tea and coffee making facilities, and the family room has extra space while maintaining the same high-altitude vantage point.

Dining

The on-site restaurant serves traditional Slovak and international cuisine, with dinner accompanied by panoramic views from the terrace. Themed dinner nights highlight local recipes, and the Rum-bar offers a selection of rums for after-dinner drinks. A complimentary breakfast buffet is included, and special diet menus are available upon request.

Activities

In winter, ski-to-door access places guests directly on the slopes of Jasná Ski Resort, with ski storage available. In summer, direct hiking trails lead from the property into the Low Tatras National Park, including routes toward the Demänovská Caves. For those arriving by car, private parking is provided at the Biela Púť car park (northern side) or at the Krupová car park (southern side).

Unique Experience

The Rotunda is the only hotel in Central Europe at this altitude, and its cable-car-only access means no cars, noise, or large tour groups. With just 3 rooms, the property hosts a maximum of 7 guests overnight, offering seclusion after the last cable car descends. The sun terrace and panoramic viewing points provide daylight-to-dusk observation of the surrounding mountains, with the hotel's bar serving drinks without a time pressure.
